  Pentair Pentek Big Blue and Big Black Heavy Duty Filter Housings offer the versatility to meet all of your large-capacity filtration needs, including high-flow and heavy-sediment applications. The extra large housing allows for greater cartridge capacity, reducing the number of vessels required for high flow-rate applications. Sumps are available in both 10″ and 20″ lengths.
The High-Flow Polypropylene (HFPP) cap is available with 3/4″, 1″ or 1-1/2″ NPT inlet and outlet ports. The 1-1/2″ internal port allows a greater volume of liquid to pass through the HFPP cap more rapidly.
Big Blue and Big Black Housings are compatible with a broad range of chemicals and are available with or without a pressure relief button. They accept a wide variety of 4-1/2″ diameter cartridges.

 VESTA Iron/Sulfur Systems

 Air Draw Iron and Sulfur Removal System

Does your water smell like rotten eggs? Do your sinks & toilets have orange staining? The VESTA AIO (Air Injection Oxidation) Filter System with Control Flow Technology may be the answer to your problems. The VESTA AIO System,  as a single tank system, is an efficient and cost effective system. The need for additional equipment…air tanks, feed pumps, or harsh chemicals (like those used in Manganese Greensand Systems) is virtually eliminated!

Iron and Sulfur, naturally occurring elements, can be removed using nature’s own process of oxidation. The VESTA AIO maintains an “air pocket” in the top of the tank while the system is in service. As water passes thru the air pocket, iron and sulfur are oxidized. The VESTA AIO filter media bed then removes the oxidized iron and sulfur from the water. Additionally, dissolved oxygen is added to the water. Our patented process slowly releases the air pocket during regeneration before replenishing the tank with a fresh air pocket. This system will delay the regeneration process and air release if water is being used in the home or business.

The VESTA AIO can remove up to 8 ppm Hydrogen Sulfide and up to 7 ppm Iron. A daily backwash will remove accumulated iron and replenish the filter media bed. The regeneration process also adds a fresh air pocket to the system.

By reducing the iron and sulfur buildup in your water your appliances will last longer. Rust and slime buildup make your appliances work harder and less efficiently, requiring more maintenance or replacement.

The VESTA AIO with optional Enhanced Oxidation Generator (EOG) uses the natural powers of ozone to oxidize and filter iron, sulfur and manganese from your home’s water. Premium Lead and Cyst Water Filtration Systems

Filtered Water Systems from PIONEER™, specifically designed at a 0.5-micron nominal filtration level, to remove both particulate and soluble lead from your drinking water. Soluble lead is invisible, odorless, tasteless, and needs to be chemically removed from water. Particulate lead is like a tiny grain of sand that needs to be physically removed from water. The PIONEER™ POE filter is strategically designed to remove BOTH forms of lead contamination from the whole house in a single filter.

Soluble/Ionic lead: PIONEER™ binders are designed to chemically react with soluble lead to create an ionic bond, kinetically removing lead from the water. Ionic bonding is a chemical bond that involves the electrostatic attraction between oppositely charged ions, and is the primary interaction occurring in ionic compounds. Ionic bonds form when a nonmetal (binder/adsorbent) and a metal (lead) exchange electrons, as they do in PIONEER™.

PFOA/PFOS Removal
The chemicals Perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), also known as C8, and Perfluorooctane sulfonic acid (PFOS) are bio-permanent, are resistant to direct oxidation, and do not break down naturally in the environment or the human body. Studies suggest that exposure to the chemicals may lead to cancer.
PIONEER™ successfully removes these chemicals and is installed where the water line enters your home, business or restaurant.
